Commercial Certificate
The commercial certificate training has five phases:
1Multiengine proficiency
2Instrument flight training
3Cross-country flight training
4Night flight training
5Flights performing the duties of pilot in command
What do I need to start my commercial certificate?
You need to have a minimum of 230 hours flight time and 50 hours of cross-country PIC, a current pilot certificate and medical.
How long will it take?
Based on a full-time schedule, the course takes between 14 to 21 days depending on self-study and previous flying experience.
How much does it cost?
The following chart shows typical costs associated with the flight training portion of the commercial course. Ground school and briefings are not shown, as they will vary with a candidate’s self-study and preparation.
